A Series of LEED Icons for Signage

Acorn Sign Graphics in Richmond, VA, a NovAcryl Preferred Fabricator, has developed a series of LEED icons for the the USGBC. These icons are designed to inform and educated building occupants of the environmental attributes of the facility.

The icons can be easily incorporated as a graphic element, adding visual interest, quick recognition and reinforcement of the many ways environmental stewardship is achieved. Acorn Sign Graphics was engaged by the U.S. Green Building Council to create the individual icons that correspond to every criteria in each credit category of all LEED rating systems. Visual icons are available for water efficiency, green infrastructure and buildings, environment quality, energy and atmosphere, sustainable sites, plus additional categories

The sign below is an example of the icons in use. The sign is made with NovAcryl Photopolymer and is designed to educate the occupant of the Green Power used in the facility. This is part of sign series that Acorn offers.
